Get a New Look for a Great Cause at the
annual HopeCuts Benefit |

Salon Facci will open its doors on Sunday,
November 6,2005. Generously giving up their day
off, the staff will donate their time and treat
clients to haircuts at a discounted price. All
proceeds will benefit research, treatment, and
education programs in cancer, HIV/AIDS, and
other life-threatening illnesses at City of Hope
National Medical Center and Beckman Research
Institute.
Guests are encouraged to make appointments now,
since space is limited.
"This is the 12th year of the HopeCuts program,
and we're so excited to be a part of its
Success," said Harry Giordano, Director of
Development with City of Hope. This event is a
fun, easy way for people to pamper themselves
for a great price, while knowing their helping
contribute to a very important cause.
HopeCuts has taken place at various salons
across the country since its beginnings at one
salon in Philadelphia in 1993. Salon Facci is
proud to be a part of this event.

Salina Mahon, and Sami Lang all traveled to
Toronto to attend a week long classic
haircutting class at the Vidal Sassoon Academy.
The Sassoon Academy provides a great foundation
in haircutting skills and techniques. All have
returned motivated and inspired and have been
sharing their experience and expertise with
their clients. |

On August 20th,
Suzanne Merias and Rebecca Andrewsky attended
Sebastian Internationals "Communicut" seminar in
Los Angeles. They learned "neoromanticism,"
which is Sebastian's latest haircutting
collection in Los Angeles, California. This
seasons collection was inspired from
architecture, fashion, and art. The highlights
of their trip include working on live models
provided for them from Sebastian and an evening
of dining at The Ivy.
